Dear Misha, thx for all your wonderful flutes. I have a question on your new Whistle Chart. I dont understand the meaning of “at a push” . For example: You cant play C major or A minor on a D Whistle without halfhole fingering because of the F# . And you cant play A Major because of the missing G# without halfhole fingering. So what do you mean with at a push? Greetings from Germany
Hi Erik, You will find that there are some tunes in C and some in A that you can play. A tune in A mixolydian for example can be played. Skilled players will also find ways to cross-finger and half hole notes.
